World AIDS Day

Today, Sunday 1/12/2024, World AIDS Day was commemorated at Kurdistan Technical Institute under the supervision of the Department of Anesthesia.

On this day, a panel was held entitled (Causes of infection and preventive measures of AIDS), with the participation of Mr. (Shahram Fadhil Othman) panel moderator, Dr. (Varin Tofiq Abbas) and Dr. (Khanda Abdullatif Anwar) as panelists.

The panel highlighted the misconceptions about the disease, as well as the causes of infection, how to prevent and future steps to be taken against the disease.

Finally, certificates were awarded to the participants by Mr. Abdullah Aziz Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Anesthesia.
