Second Kurdistan Technical Institute Health Symposium was held

Today on 9/5/2024 the second health symposium of Kurdistan Technical Institute was successfully held under the supervision of the Department of Anesthesia and the supervision of the Dean.

The symposium entitled (Guardians of Care: Infection management strategies in hospital environments with emphasis on ICU and operating room). The symposium was one of the most important events of the year and was of interest to health and academic centers, and several television channels were present to receive statements and broadcast the events of the symposium.

The symposium began with an opening speech delivered by T. (Shahram Fadhil) and a moment of silence for the souls of the martyrs, then the dean\\\'s speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. (Rebwar Mala Nabi).

The symposium consisted of two panels and a  Talk. The first panel was entitled Understanding Infection in Health Care settings. the participants were T.(Halgurd Nadhim mohammed) panel moderator,and each of (Dr.Mohammed Omer),(Dr. Hemn Abdullah) and( Dr. Tawana Mohammed) as panelists.

The second panel was entitled Global Guidelines for Infection Control, which consisted of T. (Brwa Zahid Mohammed) panel moderator and each of (Dr. Shaho Abdulrahman), (Dr. Varin Tofiq) as panelists.

Finally, a Talk was presented by T. Shahram Fadhil entitled (Three Points, Three Steps towards Change).

Finally, thanks and appreciations  were given to the participants of the symposium and it ended successfully.
