Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

After having been exposed to 2 to 4 years of working experience, our graduates should become professionals who demonstrate the following competencies:

PEO1   

To prepare graduates to work as competent and confident anesthesia technicians or assistants in the operating room and other healthcare settings. 

PEO2

To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of anesthesia, including advanced airway management techniques, advanced pharmacology of anesthetic drugs, advanced patient monitoring techniques, and the management of emergency situations. 

PEO3

To prepare graduates to effectively assist licensed anesthesiologists in the delivery of patient care, including the administration of anesthetic drugs, monitoring of vital signs, and the management of fluid and electrolyte balance. 

PEO4

To equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform safe and effective patient care, including the principles of patient assessment, preparation, and postoperative care.

PEO5

To promote the continued professional development of graduates, including the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and changing patient care needs.
