After having completed the program, graduates should be able to demonstrate the following competencies: intended Learning Outcomes

PLO1 Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to the practice of anesthesia.


PLO2 Prepare and administer anesthetic drugs and monitor patient status during anesthesia.


PLO3 Respond to emergency situations in the operating room and other healthcare settings.


PLO4 Perform airway management techniques, including advanced airway management techniques.


PLO5 Monitor patient vital signs and fluid and electrolyte balance during anesthesia.


PLO6 Assess patient needs, prepare patients for anesthesia, and manage postoperative care.


PLO7 Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.


PLO8 Understand and comply with regulations, standards, and policies related to anesthesia practice.
