Scientific presentation about Psychopathology
A scientific seminar on mental illness was presented by Bzhuen Araz in the Department of Anesthesia
The seminar explained that psychopathology is a science that studies disorders of human thought, emotion, temperament and behavior, changes that cause psychological problems and have an impact on daily and social life
This seminar focuses on several key topics in psychopathology, including:
1. Mood and emotional disorders, such as depression, mania, and severe and abnormal mood changes.
2. Perceptual disorders, such as hallucinations and illusions.
3. Abnormalities in thinking patterns, such as thought disorders.
4. Abnormalities in thought content, such as obsessions and phobias.
In conclusion, psychopathology is an important basis for a more accurate understanding of mental illness, as it helps for proper assessment, early recognition and selection of appropriate treatment, in order to improve the lives of individuals and society.
