First Aid and BLS Seminar at Kurdistan Technical Institute

The Anesthesia Department at Kurdistan Technical Institute welcomed Grade 8 students from Kurd Genius School for a seminar on First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS). This activity was conducted by instructors Dyen Hoger Tofiq and Bzhwen Araz.

During the seminar, students were introduced to the core principles of emergency response, the ABC pathway (Airway, Breathing, Circulation), recognition of an unconscious person, and the initial steps of CPR. Practical training was also provided using educational mannequins so that students could learn more effectively.

This seminar was an effort to spread awareness and teach life-saving skills at a young age, and the Anesthesia Department remains committed to continuing similar activities to serve the community.
